The Value of Recycling: minrl on Pink & Green
Some pieces are made to decorate. Others are made to mean something.
We were happy to take part in Pink & Green, the GreenPlanner Magazine series dedicated to projects that combine creativity, social impact, and circular economy through interviews and personal stories.
During the conversation, we spoke about minrl, The Value of Recycling, and our idea of jewelry, not only as an aesthetic expression, but also as a tool for awareness and change.
The collection transforms recycled precious metals into contemporary amulets, symbolic pieces designed to carry meaning, energy, and identity.

At the center of the collection is the idea that sustainability can also be emotional. These aren’t accessories created from recycled materials alone; they are objects designed to feel personal.
Handmade in recycled silver and worn on elastic bracelets, the charms come with a story explaining the impact abandoned plastic has on people, animals, and ecosystems. More than jewelry, the collection becomes an invitation to rethink how we use natural resources and how small everyday choices can contribute to change.
Alongside the charm bracelets, the project includes a silver bracelet featuring a selection of the charms together, as well as silver bangles with a charm depicting the Japanese recycling symbol, imagined as a new kind of currency capable of restoring the environment and investing in a cleaner future.
The interview with journalist M. Cristina Ceresa offers a closer look at the philosophy behind the collection and the idea of transforming precious metals into symbolic contemporary objects.
At a time when fashion is becoming increasingly focused on transparency and sustainability, projects like The Value of Recycling show how beauty and responsibility can coexist naturally.
