Drawing from the timeless principles of geometry, "On a Roll" captures the essence of harmony, order elegance, and completeness that define the universe we inhabit, not in vain Platon associated the regular solids with the elements: fire to the tetrahedron), earth to the hexahedron and the quintessential to the Dodecahedron. Each piece of this collection invites us to experience this order firsthand, to touch it, and to wear it as a testament to the beauty that surrounds us.
At the heart of "On a Roll" lies a profound appreciation for the symmetry and impeccable proportions inherent in geometric shapes. minrl harnesses the power of advanced techniques such as 3D printing and precision lost wax casting to bring these shapes to life with unparalleled accuracy and finesse. Every detail is meticulously crafted, from the initial design phase to the final hand finishing, ensuring that each piece exudes a sense of craftsmanship and quality that is synonymous with minrl.
One of the defining features of "On a Roll" is its use of Fairmined gold, a testament to minrl's commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. By choosing Fairmined gold, minrl not only ensures that their pieces are of the highest quality but also supports responsible mining practices that prioritize the well-being of miners and the environment.
The "On a Roll" collection offers delicate earrings and statement necklaces, each showcasing the timeless beauty of geometric forms. Whether worn individually or layered together, these pieces invite exploration and self-expression, allowing the wearer to roll the dice with confidence, knowing that they have beauty on their side.

minrl was invited to participate with two collections.
Paperchain, a collection of Jewels that evoke playful memories, created from two thin and very long sterling silver ribbons, hand folded many times.
Tulip, the reinterpretation of a single use, disposable ice cream spoon that transforms into a necklace. Its gold finish accentuates the sensation of gluttony, in a game between taste and vice that is difficult to resist.

]]>With the March 2022 edition of HOMI Fashion & Jewels, BE FREE was presented, an exhibition organised by Poli.Design that tells of and promotes freedom, a primary condition for the existence of every human being and supporting the basis - to be defended and celebrated - of every socio-cultural value.
A fascinating exhibition that brought together the creations of over one hundred established designers and brands, minrl was invited to participate with three projects that speak of freedom, in the way of wearing jewels, of combining them at will, overlapping and/or alternating them depending on the look or mood of the day. Jewels that are also worn to express ones own ideals, not surprisingly two of these can be crafted in Fairmined silver, for a public that is aware and proud of being protectors of the environment and the miners who extract the precious metals used to produce each piece.
Random Polygons, a series of polygonal rings, which are worn in an elegant and fresh way. Sometimes neatly, sometimes casually, thoughtlessly.
541 Earrings, 1 for everyday and 5 occasions. A pair of hexagonal stud earrings handmade in silver and five sets of very light decorative elements (made in different colours, shapes and materials).
Aura Ring, is a mystical object that allows us to stay in touch with our reality, each of us is at the centre of our own universe and is the only one able to make it grow, to take care of it.

1 2 3 5 8… in the Fibonacci sequence each number is the sum of the previous two. So much life "grows" following this succession. We find many examples in botany, the human body, music, geometry: it's not magic, it's nature! But what if our lucky numbers were part of it?
Our "Fibonacci Ring Set" is inspired by this sequence, with rings that can be used alone or combined in different ways. Come and discover them at Fiera Milano, within the autumn edition of HOMI Fashion&Jewels, where you will find the BE LUCKY exhibition organised by Poli.Design, with the jewellery and fashion accessories on show of more than 100 Italian and international brands.
18th – 21st September 2021 at Rho Fiera Milano in Corso Italia, entrance to pavilion 10.

]]>«After graduating in Colombia, I flew here to Milan, for a master's degree at Domus Academy. There I met my husband, who was one of the tutors, I found a work in several studios and stayed». Paula Andrea Callejas Greiffenstein, industrial designer, has been a lecturer at IED Milano since 2000. Together with her husband Giovanni A. Viscomi, she founded the jewelery brand «Minrl»: creations that express concepts and stories. «We care about sustainability: we don't like fast fashion» explains Paula. «Upon arriving in Milan I had to adapt to winter - in Colombia we don't have «real» seasons - and to digital services, which were not very popular at the time. Today everything has changed». Paula is very fond of cycling. «I started by exploring the Verziere area and the Darsena, my first neighborhood. By bike I can stop and observe the buildings and courtyards, the ancient and modern fountains. In Italy you live immersed in art and often you don't realize it». What would I change about Milan? «Undoubtedly the way some people park on the bike lanes.»
]]>2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, but in these hard times we were lucky and given the opportunity to work with a great group of people and realities that have helped us to bring minrl into focus and plan for what we hope will be a brighter future.

A jewel is forever. However abused it may seem, this phrase hides the desire to give a gift that leaves a mark on those who receive it, so why not contribute to leaving it also on those who produce it. There are more and more jewellers who are searching for precious materials extracted without exploiting people and respecting the environment, such as those we have found for you.
1. Cooperative in the world
Belloni jewellers has a long tradition. Today it is one of the few to have converted in a completely ethical key, maintaining its craft nature. The gold and silver come from mines in Peru and Colombia managed by cooperatives of miners who extract metals with sustainable techniques. A silver band starts at 60 euros, a necklace 280 euros, and its diamond comes from the ethical mines of Canada. While the rhodolite grenade, very similar to the ruby, is found in a Tanzanian mine run by female miners.
2. If scalpels become jewellery
They were once surgical tools. In the small Atelier Minrl, Paula Andrea Callejas, Colombian, and Giovanni A. Viscomi, English, create simple design jewels by recycling precious metals and using zero-impact processing techniques (such as egg to blacken silver). Rings, bracelets, and necklaces, from 35 euros, made from gold and silver originally used for surgical tools or x-rays. In the new collection there is also a line of earrings with small pendants made from paper produced with beer and wheat scraps, from 40 euros
3. Wedding bands? Do it yourself
Uroburo is an artisan workshop and social cooperative in the heart of Milans Isola district that creates ethical jewels thanks also to the creativity of people with frailty. Brass, copper, bronze, silver and gold, extracted without invasive techniques and without the use of explosives for the excavation, are the materials of choice used for necklaces, earrings, rings with abstract and contemporary lines, starting from 50 euros, enriched with only ethical precious stones and diamonds. And those who are preparing for their big day can personally make their own wedding bands, becoming a goldsmith for a day.
